eScooter shared trial comes to Mount Annan

The first shared eScooter trials begin this Saturday 31st July at four locations – one being the Botanical Gardens right here in Mount Annan.

The trial will limit shared scheme eScooters to riders 16 years old and over, limited to a maximum of 20km/h on bicycle path (or roads with a speed limit up to 50 km/h), and a speed limit of 10km/h for shared paths.

The trial lasts for 12 months. The eScooter provider will have an app to hire them through, and the app will also show where the eScooters are located to be picked up from and ridden.

Other sites where you will be able to hire them are Western Sydney Parklands’ Bungarribee Park, Lizard Log and Shale Hills.

Note: Privately owned eScooters will not be permitted to be used at these locations, nor anywhere in NSW for that matter.
