The Mount Annan Botanical Gardens have announced that the Budding Photographer competition is now open for entries. In its second year, the format has slightly changed from last year.
There are six competition categories – People in Gardens, Plants and Animals, Landscapes, Up Close and Personal – Macro. In addition there are two new categories for primary school and high school aged students. The overall winner will receive $500 in prize money with category winners receiving $150.
As with last year, all entries will be displayed in an exhibition 14 – 23 August in the Bowden Centre (at the gardens).
