The new intersection on Camden Bypass, complete with traffic lights, is now open.
Local residents of will find it much more convenient (and quicker) to access the bypass from both Elderslie and Spring Farm.
The new road is called Liz Kernohan Drive. Who is Liz Kernohan? Elizabeth “Liz” Kernohan was an Australian politician who served as member of the New South Wales Legislative Assembly for the Electoral district of Camden from 1991 to 2003. She was a member of the Liberal Party of Australia (source: Wikipedia)

At the Spring Farm end of the new road, there is now a roundabout. I’m sure Spring Farm residents are happy that the roadworks are now finished on Richardson Road.
