MTB track upgrade

Being an avid Mountain Biker, I was excited to hear about the changes going on at the mountain bike track, at the Australian Botanical Garden Mount Annan.

I must admit, once I saw some of the changes in progress for myself, I was even more keen to see them finished as soon as possible.

Extensions are being made to the advanced (or black) trail to add on a couple of extra Kms (unsure of exact distance), with a pretty impressive and steep banked corner (see pics below). This is located at the very far end of the track where you would normally start the downhill on the dirt road to start coming back towards the blue/green tracks. Regular riders will have seen the works as they are pretty hard to miss when riding the advanced track.

These pictures were taken late on the 26th November. As the track was closed on the weekend of the 29-30 Nov for the 24 hour Enduro, and has still be closed since because of the amount of rain over the last few days, I am unsure if any of the new sections were finished in time for the Enduro last weekend.

Look out for another post related to the Mountain Bike Track in the coming weeks!
