This week has seen some consistently high temperatures around the Macarthur region. Most days have been in the high 30’s with no rain. It’s important to keep hydrated and drink plenty of water in this heat.
However looking at forecasts that is due to change this week coming with rain predicted. As always, I’ll believe it when i see it as we seem to miss a lot of rain here in the Mount Annan and Narellan areas.
The week has certainly lent itself to some really nice sunsets also. A great place to look at them and also photograph them is up the top of Willam Howe Regional Park (I incorrectly called it William Howe Reserve), where you can get some virtually uninterrupted views of the sun setting over the great dividing range.
The below picture was taken on Friday evening around 8pm, just before sunset. I purposely lined up the pic with the tree in the shot as I think it adds to the photo.
If you have taken any great photos, please leave a message via a contact page, and we can arrange to display them on our site here.
