Hours of operation:
Winter – 8am – 1pm; Summer – 7am – 12noon
Location – Macarthur Centre for Sustainable Living
Stalls displaying fresh produce from local farmers for sale.
The markets have been arranged by the Macarthur Regional Farmers Market Association.
What sort of produce will be available? At the moment free range eggs, mushrooms, most leafy vegetables, cabbage, cauliflower, pumpkin, tomatoes, cucumbers, zucchini, capsicums, seasonal fruit, bread, sweet treats, jams and chutneys.
With that large versatile range of produce, I think there will be something for everyone, no matter what sort of diet you have.
Prices are good, and the quality is great too (I personally go for a stock up every two weeks).
The Macarthur Centre for Sustainable living is located at 1 Mount Annan Drive, Mount Annan
(just off Narellan Rd, see map below, across the road from Flower Power).
I believe in supporting locals, so get down there and check it out this and every Sunday.
